Christmas Tree Pick-Up
When it’s time to clear away the holidays Public Works will pick up your Christmas tree, free of charge.
Place your tree in the right of way, but not in the street, in front of your house on any day before January 19, 2021.
Our Public Works Department will be picking up the trees when they see them, as they are going through the
Village performing all their other duties. There is no set schedule. Trees will not be picked up by Public Works
after January 19, 2021.

Trees should not have any lights, tinsel, tree stands, nails or decorations on them. There is a maximum of two
trees, six feet or less (larger trees need to be cut down to the appropriate size), per household. If you miss the
village-wide tree collection, you can put your tree in your yard waste container according to the Village Ordinance.
Please cut the tree into pieces that will fit into the container.

It is against Village Ordinances to throw, place or deposit yard waste in public places or on private property that
does not belong to you. Do not dump your tree in someone else’s empty lot.
